Trinity Programs Administered by the OIP:
These include Trinity’s Rome Campus & Trinity Global Learning Sites Programs in Barcelona, Cape Town, Paris, Trinidad, and Vienna, as well as the Trinity-in-Santiago Program (in association with CIEE). In 2010-2011, a new program in Buenos Aires (in association with IFSA-Butler) will begin. These programs have been developed by Trinity faculty and staff and have strong links to the Trinity curriculum. They offer internships and/or other opportunities for community engagement designed to give students a strong urban/global academic experience. They have been created in cooperation with academic departments at Trinity as extensions of the college’s curriculum and are monitored by them. Over 50 percent of Trinity students who study abroad participate in one of the programs, which are also open to non-Trinity Students. Students on these programs pay the Trinity Comprehensive Fee. Note that on the List of Approved Study Away Programs (see link at the end of this page), Trinity/OIP programs are marked in bold and with an asterisk.
