Students from Trinity College's Green Campus group started a fundraiser to purchase renewable energy for Homecoming Weekend.
Green Campus is active as a small but dedicated group of students who wish to see our college act in an environmentally responsible manner. In the past, they have doggedly pursued recycling issues on campus and have been very successful at working with Trinity College’s Building and Grounds department to install recycling centers and individual bins in many, if not most, of the dorms. Besides purchasing green energy for Homecoming, Green Campus plans include providing biodegradable cups and to collect all aluminum cans and recycle them properly.
