SPS Students Organize Viewing of Lunar Eclipse

October 2004

lunar eclipseAstronomical events continue to draw students to SPS events.  About 100 students took a break from the fourth (and final) game of this year's World Series to observe the last lunar eclipse of 2004.
Students from the Society of Physics Students, who sponsored the event, provided telescopes, binoculars and lots of hot chocolate, and students came and watched for more than three hours on the North Quad.
