June 2004

Transit of Venus

A group of approximately 75 students, faculty and friends joined Trinity Physics professors Barbara Walden, Bob Weinberger and Christoph Geiss to observe the Transit of Venus from the campus of Trinity College. After a cloudy beginning we were rewarded with approximately two hours of reasonably clear sky and a great breakfast of blueberry pancakes and real Connecticut maple syrup.
