  • REU  Research Opportunities for Undergraduates
Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Program (FTP site) funded by the National Science Foundation
The National Science Foundation makes it possible for undergraduates to participate in on-going research projects at many different universities throughout the country through this summer program. Nearly 100 laboratories are designated REU sites each year, and most host groups of 10-15 undergraduates. Students work closely with faculty, postdocs, and graduate students, and have the opportunity to attend seminars and social functions. Students are granted stipends, and in some cases assistance with housing and travel. Click on the link above for a complete list of the sites which participate in the REU program.
