Human Rights Program
LOCAL AND GLOBAL INTERNSHIPS

Local Internships

Human Rights students are strongly encouraged to undertake an academic internship during their time at Trinity.  Students can choose from dozens of local organizations in the Hartford area.  Internships are unpaid, but students earn academic credit.  During the course of a semester, students work part-time at the internship site, complementing this with an academic project that they complete under the direction of a Trinity professor.  Visit Trinity’s Internship site for more information.

Students wishing to volunteer for human rights-related projects should also visit Trinity's Office of Community Service and Civic Engagement.

Human Rights Internships in Santiago

Trinity’s Global Site in Santiago, Chile gives students a unique opportunity to intern at a human rights organization.  Students work part-time while completing an academic project with a Trinity professor.
