25 Years of Neuroscience

In the early 1990s, Trinity was one of the first liberal arts institutions to delve deeply into neuroscience teaching and research. The neuroscience program provides students with a deep grounding in all of the sciences, and the flexibility to orient their studies toward biological, behavioral, or cognitive directions. Trinity's unique program involves close interdisciplinary interactions among highly collaborative faculty in biology, chemistry, engineering, philosophy, and psychology - all of whom conduct research with student partners. The addition of the five-year BA/MA program in 2013 shows the strength of the program and recognizes the growing interest in neuroscience and in providing Trinity students with an uncommon opportunity at a liberal arts college.

The 2015-2016 academic year marks the 25th anniversary of the neuroscience program at Trinity. Join us as we celebrate the accomplishments of our students and faculty and look forward to the ongoing success of the program.
