Tools for Self-Discovery

One way to start thinking about your post-graduate options is to take an interest inventory assessment. This tool helps you look at what you enjoy in new ways and envision new patterns and connections. In addition, an interest inventory can help you determine the type of experiences and skills you should seek from an internship, summer job, graduate school, or full-time job.

We offer two interest assessment tools.
  • The Campbell Interest and Skill Survey shows you the skills that you most enjoy using and provides an indication of your confidence level. The Campbell Survey also compares your pattern of interests to those of people working in specific occupations.
  • Do What You Are is an online assessment that produces a detailed report that summarizes your personality type, another key tool in identifying meaningful career paths.
Our career advisers help you analyze the results of both assessment tools and develop an academic and career plan outline that charts a course for you at Trinity.

Of course, we encourage students to educate themselves about different career options by reading the online resources to which we subscribe.
