Trinity’s faculty are an invaluable resource for students. Their knowledge, experience, and perspective make them well equipped to provide advice and guidance for jobs, fellowships, and graduate school, and help shape your career discovery process.
Faculty and staff members also participate on career panels, advise on academic internships, and are available just to talk.
For example, in 2010, Ward S. Curran ’57, distinguished professor of economics, offered a “crash” course on corporate finance. The class is aimed at helping Trinity students become more fluent in Wall Street and corporate finance terminology.
“Professor Curran's Wall Street Crash Course provided clear and basic accounting knowledge, a necessary skill in understanding financial statements and a company's bottom line. He then applied these skills to real-life examples of publicly traded firms. The course was invaluable to my job search, as it provided me with crucial knowledge to have in a finance interview." Rebecca D. Cohn ’11
Professor Curran will reprise this course during the annual Bantam Boot Camp workshops.
