Sophomore year is a critical time for students to think about where they want to go in their post-Trinity years and to plan for that future. During an intensive two-and-a-half-day on-campus workshop, you’ll gain skills and strategies to develop your academic and career interests and identify opportunities that will help you reach your goals. The program is offered before fall and spring term classes begin. You’ll be assigned a career adviser, develop a polished résumé, participate in a workshop to help “build your brand,” learn about the art of networking, and have the opportunity to meet with accomplished Trinity alumni. You’ll learn the importance of academic planning, internship experience, and community involvement.
Trinity alumni are big supporters of and participants in Bantam Sophomore Success, lending their time and expertise to talk about their own career paths and to help students understand how to become better prepared and more competitive for the workforce.
Our Building Your Brand workshop is an interactive experience in which you learn how to recognize and communicate your unique value. By the time this popular workshop is over, students tell us they are amazed by what they have learned about themselves and how to put it all together in a way that helps them differentiate themselves in the marketplace.
