AGENCY FUNCTION: Hartford based Sports Marketing and Management company. Our main task is the marketing and management of the CT Whale along with other special events in the Connecticut area.
INTERN ACTIVITIES: Responsible for maintenance of contact lists/database; Assist with preparation of proposals/presentations and contracts for major sponsors; Maintain schedule of summer events and attend trade shows and events with sales staff at various venues across Connecticut; Assisting in marketing campaigns; Locating and obtaining contact information of new prospective business or ticket sales and sponsorships clients; Participate/Observe in daily/weekly staff meetings, as well as selected meetings w/prospects; and Assist with other various projects on a day to day basis.
HOURS PER WEEK: Interns should have flexible schedules Monday-Friday with a minimum commitment of 3 days a week as well as game nights during hockey season and community events during the summer, with hours varying.
