AGENCY FUNCTION:  The Institute of Living is a comprehensive center for the evaluation, treatment and follow-up care of psychiatric, emotional and addiction disorders.  The Institute offers a broad spectrum of services that include short-term inpatient, outpatient, residential, day treatment centers, addiction recovery, and adolescent, geriatric and special needs programs.  The school provides special education for emotionally and learning disabled children.

 

INTERN ACTIVITIES:  Placements can be arranged in various departments, depending upon student interest.  Past placements include day treatment, geriatric, clinical psychology.  (The Webb Schools have a separate listing in this directory.)
