AGENCY FUNCTION: Social Policy/Children & Families
INTERN ACTIVITIES: Interns and work study students will perform a wide variety of increasingly difficult duties as technical skills are acquired during the course of the working period. These duties may include, but need not be limited to:
Responding to inquiries from Legislators for information
Analyzing and preparing impact statements for proposed legislation
Collecting and analyzing data
Assisting in the planning and preparation for legislative hearings, forums and special events
Drafting meeting notes, memos, preliminary reports and briefing papers
Other duties as assigned to meet the business needs of the agency
HOURS PER WEEK: 10 Minimum
