Externships offer you the opportunity to shadow an experienced professional for one or two days in his or her workplace. By enabling you to experience "a day in the life" of a professional in your field of interest, externships are an excellent way to explore career paths and build your professional network.
Through the Trinity Days Externship Program, the Career Development Center matches Trinity students with alumni and parent hosts in a variety of fields. Over 25 externships will be available to students during the upcoming February Trinity Days.

Applying for Externships
Externships are listed in Trinity eRecruiting
. To access the list, login to your Trinity eRecruiting account. Go to the "Jobs & Internships Search" tab at the top of the page. Then click the link for "Trinity Days Externships Spring 2014" in the 1-Click Searches box on the left.
Applications consist of a résumé and a brief statement of interest. You may apply to multiple externships, provided that you tell us why you are interested in each individual opportunity. Because externships are exploratory, you do not need to have substantial experience in a given area to qualify for an externship.
For Alumni and Parents:
Extern hosts provide valuable guidance and mentorship to current Trinity students. If you are interested in hosting an extern at your place of work, please contact Breton Boudreaux '04 at Breton.Boudreaux@trincoll.edu
or (860) 297-2080.
