Dealing with Difficult People: Workplace Communication
Adwoa graduated from Trinity with a B.A. in Psychology, followed by a year-long stint as a research assistant at Yale.  She received her Master's in Industrial Organizational Psychology from New York University in 2008.  During graduate school, Adwoa interned at Escada and Donna Karan before moving into positions at Citco and Saks Fifth Avenue in Human Resources.

In the years after graduate school, she quickly moved up the Human Resources career ladder at Pepsico and Nestle before becoming VP of Human Resources at Comcast, where she currently works.  In addition, she runs her own website, the #1 Career Strategist website for Corporate Women, featuring tips on workplace communication, negotiation, and everything else career-related.

Janet Parnes
First Impressions and Etiquette Expert
Janet graduated from UMass-Amherst with a B.A. in French and was trained at The Protocol School of Washington.  She will be leading this year's etiquette dinner and art of social drinking events.

Janet realizes that a “lecture on how to hold the fork” is not the way to stoke interest. As such, in addition to role play, she spices her hands-on workshops with creative flavors that include games, intriguing historical trivia, and breath-catching tales of real–life rudeness. She digs beneath the mechanics of manners with discussions on their underlying reasoning addressing the question, “What’s in this for me?” Janet’s infectious enthusiasm and natural empathy combine to create workshops that sizzle!
