Career Exploration

Explore from the Start

No time is too soon to start planning your career. We have resources to support you throughout your career — whether you are a first-year student exploring ideas, an alumnus/a looking to change course, or somewhere in between.
If you’re just launching your career search, there are a number of ways to begin. Our assessment tools help you pair your passions and personality with potential careers, while sitting down with an adviser can help you refine your options and decide on a direction. Even if your career seems a long way off, these resources can help you create goals to work toward as you pursue internships, summer jobs, and research opportunities.

  • Spotlight on Careers — This website was created specifically for students at liberal arts schools. It can help you match the talents and interests you’ll develop at Trinity with job titles and trends.

Advice for Life

The backbone of our Career Development Center is our career advising. Even during your first year, you can schedule a one-on-one conversation and start working with a personal adviser. You can sit down with an expert and get advice tailored to you. Then, throughout each step of your career development you’ll have a trusted adviser to guide you along the way.
