AGENCY FUNCTION:  The magnet school is a multi-faceted educational facility focused on individual learning styles and strengths that brings urban and suburban children, families and faculty together to form a diverse, innovative learning community, based on the theory of multiple intelligences, developed by Dr. Howard Gardner of Harvard University.  Visit www.crec.org/uhms for more information.

 

INTERN ACTIVITIES:  Assist with materials, working in centers planned by teacher, facilitating group management, attending all essential classes (art, PE, music) with students to facilitate participation and growth.
