AGENCY FUNCTION:  The mission of Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters is to foster high quality mentoring relationships between at-risk children and professionally screened/supervised adult volunteers. The goal is to nurture the children’s self-esteem, giving them hope that they can grow into healthy, productive members of society. INTERN ACTIVITIES:  Intern will work with program staff to learn basics of intake, assessment and matching processes. Intern may choose to work with community-based, site-based or foster grandparent program. Will participate in other agency functions as needed.

 

HOURS PER WEEK:  To be determined on case-by-case basis. Student should have weekday and evening availability.
