AGENCY FUNCTION:  Independent day school for grades 6-12.

INTERN ACTIVITIES: 

Athletic Dept.: Assist with athletic coaching for boys and girls in any sport offered by the school.  Grades 6-8 meet at 11am-1 pm; grades 9-12 at 3:30-5:30 pm. Practice days are M,T,TH & F; games are W & Sat

Modern Language Dept.: The intern will be involved in the classroom with middle school French students, at a level commensurate with his/her comfort level and mastery of French and the teaching of French. Participation could range from observation to helping small groups in the classroom, or even teaching an entire chapter of material.

HOURS PER WEEK:  Athletic Dept.: 8-12 

                                 Modern Language Dept.: Daily, to maintain continuity,

                                     or – if not possible – a minimum of twice a week

                                        for the same class period
