AGENCY FUNCTION:  Provides mediation services for Hartford area residents involved in disputes. Cases are generated through neighborhood outreach, by the police department, and (mainly) Hartford Superior Court and Hartford Community Court.

INTERN ACTIVITIES:  Court liaison work, case development and follow-up, and/or case management, public relations & newsletter. Possible attendance at mediation training sessions. Car helpful.  Good experience for pre-law students.  Spanish is helpful as 40% of caseload is Latino.

HOURS PER WEEK: 12-20
