AGENCY FUNCTION:  Hartford Hospital is a comprehensive medical center, offering health services and teaching programs to the health professions.

INTERN ACTIVITIES:  Dept. of Medicine (Epidemiology):  Student may study aspects of hospital-acquired infections, infectious diseases or antibiotic therapy, utilizing prospective or retrospective data-gathering, inferential or statistical analysis and possible contact with patients, Employee Health Service, computers and/or Medical Records. Lab work is possible. 

HOURS PER WEEK:  One full day minimum
