AGENCY FUNCTION: The CPA is a private, non-profit organization established in 1875 to assist in the reform of individual offenders and of the system as a whole. It works with the Dept. of Corrections and branches of the judicial system to provide innovative and alternative services to offenders inside and outside of prisons.  Visit www.cpa-ct.org for more information.

 

INTERN ACTIVITIES: Opportunities exist to work directly with clients and in the office, in the following programs: Alternatives to Incarceration, Correctional Art, Resettlement, Beyond Fear HIV Inmate Education, Young Offender Program.
