AGENCY FUNCTION:  A private, non-profit institution that seeks, through its exhibits and programs, to increase public understanding of science, live animals, nature and the environment. The Museum serves more than 200,000 people annually and features national traveling science exhibitions, a core of permanent exhibits and the Gengras Planetarium.

 

INTERN ACTIVITIES:  Internships available in several areas: Development/Marketing/Membership – duties may include providing support for PR, writing press releases, taking photos for placement in the press, assisting with events, researching/updating media contact list, working at membership kiosk as required; Grant Assistant – researching/writing/submitting grant proposals.

 

HOURS PER WEEK:  10
