AGENCY FUNCTION:  Strong to attract and retain businesses and industries and jobs in Connecticut plus create and develop affordable housing and communities. Promotes statewide economic and community development through its progress, financing and partnerships with communities, businesses, developers, and educational and non-profit institutions.

 

INTERN ACTIVITIES:  Assist business professionals and directors with various economic and community development projects and research activities in the following divisions: legal, government affairs, business recruitment, real estate and infrastructure, international, finance and administration, contract compliance and planning, and information systems.

 

HOURS PER WEEK:  Flexible, according to project and student's schedule

 

INTERNSHIP AVAILABLE:  FALL:  Possible;   SPRING:  Possible;   SUMMER:  Yes

 

STIPEND: $10-12/hour, if paid internship
