AGENCY:         CONNECTICUT, STATE OF, COUNCIL ON ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY

AGENCY FUNCTION:  Prepares annual report to governor and legislature on state’s environment, reviews state agencies’ construction projects, investigates citizen complaints/allegations of environmental law violations.  Visit our website: www.ct.gov/ceq.

 

INTERN ACTIVITIES:  Assist with research on environmental permitting and enforcement, land use, open space preservation, environmental policy.  Monitor legislation; attend committee meetings and hearings (spring semester).  A background in political science or biology is helpful.
