AGENCY FUNCTION: Coordinates and provides access to resources by developing and recommending to the Governor and Legislature policy for the advancement of the Latino and Puerto Rican community. 

 

INTERN ACTIVITIES: Assist staff with research as well as assistance preparing analytical reports of public policy issues on topics that affect the Latino and Puerto Rican population, such as education, the environment, health, government reform, children, criminal justice, economic development, and housing. Assist in tracking legislative proposals, monitoring legislative committee meetings, and hearings of the Connecticut General Assembly.

 

HOURS PER WEEK: Flexible; 4-hour time slots, 2-3 days per week preferred
