Mini-Grant Program

In the fall of 2008, a sustainability mini-grant program was created through a $10,000 commitment from College President James F. Jones, Jr. The goal of this program was to enable members of the Trinity community to undertake relatively small-scale projects in order to advance the College's desire to be a more environmentally friendly institution. The following project proposals were approved:

  • Emily Quinton '11 and Elisabeth Cianciola '10, on behalf of Green Campus, started a reusable bag-share program for Trinity's dining facilities

  • Maggie Thomas '10 and Colby Tucker '09 started a student-run clothesline and drying rack program

  • Jacob Prosnit '12 worked with the IT Department to develop and launch an electronic rideboard system
