HIGHLIGHTS: On September 6, an army of approximately 700 Trinity student volunteers headed out across the city of Hartford for the 16th annual Do It Day. More than 50 community organizations hosted volunteers, who tackled projects from gardening to painting, office work, reading to children, inspecting and packing produce, and more. Welcoming the Class of 2018

Recent Graduates Pen Hartford Courant Op-Ed about Rebuilding Orphanage in Kenya
This summer, a contingent of Trinity students and recent graduates spent nearly five weeks on a Projects for Peace effort in Njoro, Kenya, rebuilding an orphanage that burned to the ground as a result of postelection violence in 2007. Reflecting on their experience, Marissa Block ’14 and Gaurav Toor ’14 wrote an op-ed, which appeared in The Hartford Courant. Read more.

A liberal arts education from Trinity already gives graduates an edge when they enter the workforce. That advantage is about to grow for those entering finance, thanks to the College’s new Financial Research and Technology Center. Read more.

Nate Choukas '18 Named NESCAC Golf Rookie of the Year
Nate Choukas '18 helped lead the Trinity College Bantams to third place in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Golf Championship Qualifying Tournament at Skenandoa Golf Club on September 27 and 28. Choukas was honored as the NESCAC Rookie of the Year for his outstanding performance at the tournament. Choukas became the third player in Trinity's history to earn NESCAC Rookie of the Year recognition. Read more.
