HIGHLIGHTS: Trinity's women's rowing team made history on May 31 when it captured its first NCAA Division III National Championship. "It's been a long process to get here and one that has required a great deal of effort over time," Trinity Head Coach Wesley Ng said. "It's a testament to the shared experiences that this team has had over time that they kept grinding away to get better. We talk about our brand of rowing, and they were disciplined all year and it finally paid off." Trinity's Class of 2014 Graduates 'Neath the Elms
On Sunday, May 18, Trinity awarded 576 degrees to students at the College's 188th Commencement. On that day, five graduating senior members of the women's lacrosse team were representing Trinity at the NCAA Division III Quarterfinals and could not attend the ceremony. A special Commencement ceremony was held on Wednesday, May 21. See photos from their ceremony.

Alumni, Families, and Friends Celebrate at Reunion 2014
More than 800 alumni and family members returned to Trinity for Reunion 2014, June 12-15. This year’s Reunion classes (years ending in 4s and 9s) were well represented ’neath the elms—and everywhere else on campus—as they reminisced with friends, enjoyed alumni- and faculty-led presentations, and participated in tours, open houses, class dinners, and other events. Two Students Awarded Barry Goldwater Scholarships
Philip Cho '15 and Lisa Yamada '15 were both awarded the prestigious Goldwater Scholarship, which is given to college students who intend to pursue research careers in STEM fields. Read more.

Salima Etoka '15 is Trinity’s First Truman Scholar in 28 Years
Salima Etoka ’15, a QuestBridge Scholar and native of the Democratic Republic of Congo, has been awarded a prestigious Truman Scholarship for 2014, one of only 59 college students in the country and the first Trinity student to be selected in 28 years. Etoka, who recently spent a semester studying in Senegal, is majoring in urban studies, political science, and French and is particularly interested in immigrant and refugee rights and diaspora communities.
