Vice President of Finance

Paul Mutone serves Trinity College as Vice President for Finance and Operations and Treasurer. A member of the College’s senior leadership, Mutone is responsible for Trinity’s operating and capital budgets, human resources, risk management, student financial services, purchasing, payroll and legal affairs. His responsibilities also include oversight for oversight campus safety, facilities, and information technology. Prior to joining Trinity was the Vice President for Business and Financial Affairs at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY.

During his approximately 25 years in finance, Mutone has worked in both higher education and the private sector.  Prior to Marist, he was Associate Vice President and Controller at Vassar College, where he served for 16 years and played a major role in budget planning and development, among other areas. Before joining Vassar, Mutone was the supervising senior auditor at KPMG Peat Marwick in Stamford, CT.
