Common Hour* intends to offer the Trinity community an opportunity to absent themselves from daily tasks and concerns, gather, and engage in topics of interest and enjoy performances, lectures, discussions, and readings that enrich our cultural and intellectual lives. The designated weekly hours also seek to showcase the best of what occurs within our campus community. 

If you are interested in hosting an event /program during the Common Hour time slots please e-mail Ilda.Ramos@trincoll.edu with the following details:

  • Sponsoring department:
  • Co-sponsors, if applicable:
  • Proposed date:
  • Lecture or program title:
  • Speaker (please include title):
  • Brief description:
  • Set up requirements
  • Account number for all event support services:
    Please note: all expenses associated with the lecture/program must be covered by the sponsoring department. Food and beverages will no longer be provided by the College during the Thursday Common Hour time slot.

Once a proposal is confirmed, the exact title and brief description of the event must be provided at least four weeks prior to the program. 

*All room reservations and event support services requests should be made though the Calendar and Special Events Office at least four weeks in advance. Mather Hall and Hallden Hall - North Wing are the primary spaces used.
