Please discourage family members or friends from parking on sidewalks or roadways or blocking parked vehicles. Parking in such a manner could result in removal of the vehicle from campus at the owner’s expense. There is no parking allowed on the south side of Vernon Street. Parking on both sides of this street will hinder emergency vehicles and regular traffic. There are “No parking” signs posted along Allen Place and Crescent Street. Please pay attention to the signage along the streets. Hartford police regularly ticket and tow vehicles parked on the wrong sides because these streets, especially Allen Place, are the best arteries to Hartford Hospital from campus. Hartford police will patrol these areas throughout the day.
