What: “Do It Day” is an annual event at Trinity College which affords students, administrators, faculty, and staff the opportunity to strengthen relationships between the College and local organizations, as well as the opportunity to connect with the city of Hartford. Initiated in 1999, “Do It Day” is a day the College dedicates to participating in various community service projects in the Hartford community.

Background: Do-It-Day has become one of the largest community service events in the history of the College and has left a significant mark on the city. Last year, more than 600 members of the Trinity community volunteered at over 45 non-profit organizations in Hartford. Participants get involved in everything from gardening and painting to rebuilding wheelchairs, making an immediate impact on the city.
