What: Chenjerai Hove will be at Trinity College as part of the A.K. Smith Reading Series to give a reading. The focus will be on fiction writing. This event is free and open to the public. A reception and book signing will follow.

Background: Chenjerai Hove is the highly-acclaimed Zimbabwean novelist, poet, and essayist. His works have received international recognition for their unique blend of African folklore, historic awareness, and humanitarian vision. His first novel in English, Bones, received the prestigious Noma Award for Publishing in Africa. A long-time critic of the Mugabe government, Chenjerai Hove has lived in exile for many years; he is currently a fellow at Brown University's Watson Institute for International Studies.
