What: The Fine Arts Department is sponsoring a bus trip to New York City this Friday, March 6, for students and staff in the Trinity community. Pick up is at noon at Mather Hall, drop off is at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and return is at 7 p.m. You can visit the museum with Professor Devin Dougherty and her class, or arrange your own day. There will be time for dinner before the bus meets for departure at the Met. Sapce is limited, but there are still seats available. A $20.00 contribution is requested.

Background: The Metropolitan Museum of Art is one of the world's largest and finest art museums. Its collections include more than two million works of art spanning 5,000 years of world culture, from prehistory to the present and from every part of the globe. Founded in 1870, the Metropolitan Museum is located in New York City's Central Park along Fifth Avenue (from 80th to 84th Streets). Last year it was visited by 5.2 million people.
